During his tenure as the Municipal Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), Mr. Nahata spearheaded several transformative initiatives that have had a lasting impact on the city. This initiative earned him the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration for the year 2009-10, recognizing his innovative approach to inclusive education and social welfare .
